One of  EtceteraCALL's mission in to educate future teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Indonesia. To achieve this, some courses on technology and English language teaching and learning have been developed and implemented in  a formal higher education context. In my role as a lecturer at Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Universitas Jambi, I have worked continuously  to develop various courses on technology.

Among others, I offer a course title "Technology-enhanced Language Learning" (TELL) as an introductory course to TELL/CALL. This course prepares students with basic knowledge and skills on technology and English language teaching and learning. I also offer an elective cluster of educational technology courses comprising of "Introduction to Multimedia in ELT", "LMS for ELT", "Social Media for ELT", and culminating in "Project in Educational Technology", where the students comprehensively apply the skills and knowledge on specific aspects of technology in ELT in the real life context.
